About the “Pride and Prejudice” Jane Austen Tour.
The Jane Austen Tour was created to indulge all the senses of true Jane Austen fans. Throughout our Jane Austen Tours we will journey to Chawton, Jane Austen’s hometown; Bath, the center of Jane Austen culture and festivities; as well as many film locations from the 2005 movie version of Jane’s most beloved tale “Pride and Prejudice”. Guests will stay in one of the hotels that the actors stayed in while filming “Pride and Prejudice”, receive private tours at exclusive locations, and take part in Regency workshops designed exclusively for Jane Austen Tours Fan Trips! Dinner at “Netherfield” (Basildon Place), a visit to a European spa, and breathtaking scenery will provide travelers with a genuine taste of Regency life. From having tea at the Jane Austen Centre to standing in the Temple of Apollo where Mr. Darcy first confessed his love to Elizabeth to dancing the night away at a formal ball, each day holds excitement and charm from decades gone by.
